Champion is an American manufacturer of clothing, specializing in sports, athletic wear. The brand is a subsidiary of HanesBrands, Inc. Champion was established in 1919 by the Feinbloom brothers.

PROVIDING OUR SERVICES

The data is processed to provide our Services to you and to operate and improve our Services, the user experience, and our business. In this case, the legal basis is the contract and legitimate interest. Some Champion sites allow users to submit their own content for contents, or to participate in blogs etc.  Any information you submit or post as user-generated content to Champion websites will become publicly available information.  We recommend that you to exercise caution when deciding to disclose any information in such submissions or posts.  Champion cannot prevent others from using this information in a manner that may violate this Notice, the law, or your personal privacy and safety.  Champion is not responsible for the results of such postings.

INFORMATION TRANSFER 

As a global organization, your information may be transferred within the Champion organization located in a country that is different in which you live, or to our trusted third parties based in other countries so that they can process your information on our behalf.  This may include the transfer of your information to the United States.  By using this website or providing information to Champion, you consent to us transferring this information in accordance with the terms of this Notice and as permitted by applicable data protection law.

Champion will comply with applicable data protection laws when transferring your information to another country, and has taken appropriate safeguards to ensure that the transfer of data to our affiliates and suppliers outside of the EU/EES is adequately secure and protected. This has been done through the execution of standard data protection clauses adopted by the EU Commission.

PROTECTING YOUR INFORMATION

Champion has implemented administrative, physical, and technical measures to protect your information from loss or unauthorized use or alteration.  Your information is stored in a secured environment and access to your information is restricted to prevent against unauthorized access, modification or misuse and permitted to only those employees or third parties working on our behalf, on a need to know basis.

Champion will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, unless  a different timeframe is required or permitted by law. In general, we will keep your personal data for as long as your Champion account is active, but no longer than 24 months of inactivity. At any time, you may opt out of data processing by sending an email to privacy.championeurope@hanes.com or by clicking the “unsubscribe” link on our emails to restrict promotional advertising.

YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW YOU CAN CONTACT US 

As permitted by applicable law, you have a right of access, rectification and deletion of information collected about you, and the right to oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of this information.  You can also choose how Champion  communicates with you.

If you would like to stop receiving information from Champion, you can follow the opt-out instructions provided in any communication message you receive.  Champion will honor your request to stop receiving promotional messages from us, in accordance with your opt-out instructions.  However, we may continue to send you service-related communications such as emails confirming purchases through our websites.  We may also retain your information for recording keeping purposes, for example, to make sure that we fulfill your request not to send any particular type of messages.
