HOW TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES IN YOUR SHOES
IDENTIFICATION OF THE BATTERY TYPE
This product contains a removable battery of a specific type and size.
Battery model: CR2032 - 3 VLT
When replacing the battery, use only an equivalent battery with the same type and specifications as the original. Using an incorrect battery type may affect product performance and pose safety risks.
SAFETY INFORMATION
- Only an adult should remove or replace the battery.
- Keep batteries away from children and pets; swallowed batteries can cause serious injury.
- Never short circuit, recharge (if it is a non rechargeable type), or expose the battery to heat or fire.
- Follow your local collection system for used batteries (for example, dedicated collection boxes in shops or recycling centers)
- Work on a flat, clean surface.
- If your model has a screw on the battery case lid, you will need a small cross head screwdriver.
STEP 1: REMOVE THE FOOTBED FROM THE SHOE
A. Open the shoe and gently grasp the back of the footbed (insole).
B. Pull the footbed up and out of the shoe in one smooth movement.
STEP 2: LOCATE THE CUT OUT AND TEXTILE WEBBING
- Look inside the empty shoe.
- You will see a small rectangular cut out in the midsole with a textile strap/webbing coming out of it (this marks the battery compartment).
STEP 3: LIFT THE FLAP TO ACCESS THE BATTERY CASE
A. Hold the textile webbing gently pull upward to lift the flap
B. Expose the plastic battery case underneath.
STEP 4: OPEN THE BATTERY CASE
There are two possible versions of the battery case. Check which one your shoe has.
4A – CASE WITHOUT SCREW
A. If there is no screw on the lid, hold the front edge of the plastic lid – the one facing the toe of the shoe.
B. Lift or unclip the lid to open the case and reveal the battery.
4B – CASE WITH SCREW
A. If there is a small screw on the lid, use a small cross-head screwdriver. Turn the screw counter clockwise until the lid is loose.
B. Lift the lid to expose the battery.
STEP 5: REMOVE THE BATTERY
- Carefully lift the battery out of the case using your fingers.
- You can push one of the edges to lift the battery out of the case.
- Avoid bending the metal contacts or using sharp tools on the battery.
STEP 6: DISPOSE OF THE BATTERY RESPONSIBLY
- Do not throw the used battery in household waste.
- Place the battery in a designated collection container for batteries according to your local or national regulations (for example, recycling bins in shops or municipal collection points).
- If you are inserting a new battery, place it in the case with the correct polarity (+/−) following the symbol inside the case, then close the lid, re secure the screw if present, fold back the flap and reinsert the footbed.
