CHAMPION x ANGELO BAQUE COLLECTION
Inspired by the intricate textiles and craftsmanship of Ecuador’s Quechua people and the Incan traditions of Peru, the collection celebrates indigenous techniques passed down through generations. It represents more than just patterns; it represents vibrant, living expressions of culture and history. Baque also draws inspiration from Mesoamerican and Central American Indigenous imagery, with Aztec artifacts and designs playing a key role throughout the collection. Prints inspired by ancient relics connect the past to the present, merging history with modern design, and showcasing the legacy and beauty of these ancient cultures.
ABOUT ANGELO BAQUE
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Angelo Baque rose to prominence as the Brand Director for Supreme, where he spent ten years cultivating their iconic aesthetic. Following his successful run, Baque departed to establish Baque Creative, a boutique creative agency, and Awake New York, a clothing label that encapsulates the spirit of New York.
