This global collaboration between teams based in the United States and the European Union uses Champion’s iconic Reverse Weave fabric, ahead of the Reverse Weave 70th anniversary in October of 2022 of the 1952 U.S. patent.

Classic Champion styles including hoodies and crewnecks form the foundations of the collection, which are elevated to create a more feminine line. The products have been reinvented and evolved, using different lengths and higher ribs to align with the female gait, introducing seductive elements from the corsetry world.

GOING AGAINST THE GRAIN

Pioneered by Champion, Reverse Weave is a premium construction technique that prevents vertical shrinkage, use after use, wash after wash.

Created in 1938. Patented in 1952. Reimagined in 2012.

The idea for Reverse Weave was born from the concerns of American football coaches when washing athletes' apparel. To prevent shrinkage, we flipped the fleece upright and cut it on the cross-grain.
