Pioneered by Champion, Reverse Weave was a premium construction technique that prevents shrinkage by flipping the fleece upright and cutting it on the cross-grain.
Champion's signature “C” appeared for the first time in the 1950s and was affixed from then on to the left sleeve of each sweatshirt. This logo and positioning has since become synonymous with Champion.
