Who Made the First-Ever Hoodie?
Champion did. Founded in 1919 as the Knickerbocker Knitting Company, Champion first developed the hooded sweatshirt in the early 1930s, revolutionising sportswear forever. What began as a practical layer for athletes quickly became an icon of comfort and performance.
